“Luke and I met while attending BYU – Idaho.  Even though we were studying the same major, we never saw each other! We literally took the same classes but just one semester apart. We finally met in a landscape contracting class (romantic, right?) and I had the lovely view of the back of his head. We slowly warmed up to each other and had our first date right after Valentine’s Day. We went rock climbing and it was the best first date we’d ever been on! Luke proposed on November 10th in Galena, NV. We went pinecone hunting for a rare cone for his collection and he brought the ring along and a bouquet of roses. We also found his pinecone, so all around, it was a great day!” -Alyssa

I first met Alyssa at wedding I did in Seattle about a year ago! I was so excited when she reached out to me to shoot their wedding! Their engagement session was gorgeousssssss despite the pouring rain haha! These two were total troupers in the wet and cold! I loved exploring with these two and can’t wait for their upcoming Lake Tahoe bridal session!
