I always dreamed of creating the perfect nursery for our baby! A safe space full of love and light! Putting together baby girl’s nursery was literally a dream come true and has gotten me so excited to welcome her into our home and watch her grow and her room evolve as she finds passions and dreams of her own❤️😭
It was hard knowing what direction to take her room… when we found out we were having a girl I was SO EXCITED and I instantly thought of pink everything haha! But after thinking it through we wanted her room to embody the spirit of adventure and travel that Hudson and I love so much. My grandparents were world travelers and I never named a country that they hadn’t been to. They inspired me so much to travel the world and experience other cultures and places! Some of my favorite memories were talking about our travels together. I would tell my grandpa about the jungle in Fiji or the beaches in Tonga and he would share memories of Hawaii where they lived and visited often or the crazy bus ride up to Machu Picchu! I inherited a painting of theirs and wanted it to be the focus point. It depicts island life and reminds me of them and some of my favorite places!
We used the painting and incorporated things that Hudson and I have picked up on our travels like the shell necklaces given to us in the Philippines by my mission president after our engagement or the wooden elephant we found in Thailand after we got engaged.
There are also a lot of new pieces! The crib mobile came all the way from New Zealand and is made out of felt! I will include a full list of products used below! We are so grateful to everyone that attended the baby shower or sent gifts and helped add to the pieces in the nursery! We are so excited to meet baby girl and create so many memories with her in our home!❤️
